Keeping Taxes Low
Historically, property taxes in Ontario were built for one clear purpose: to fund our community. They paid for our roads, our schools, our clean water, and our emergency services. Property taxes are meant to be a public investment in the people who live here – not a corporate handout to help large corporations pad their profits at your expense.
Fiscal Accountability
Whitby residents work hard for their money, and every dollar matters. I will ask tough questions, demand transparency, and ensure taxpayers receive value for every dollar spent.
Responsible Procurement
I will maintain strong oversight of procurement to ensure transparency, fairness, accountability, and value for Whitby residents.
Smart Growth
Growth should enhance our community, not overwhelm it.
Working Together
I will collaborate with fellow councillors to get things done for Ward 3.
Transparency in Government
Residents deserve open and accountable local government.
Community Safety and Security
Whitby residents deserve to feel safe in their homes, on their streets, and throughout our community. Keeping our community safe must be our top priority.
Supporting Whitby Youth
Our young people need opportunities close to home, places to connect, participate, learn, and build a strong future right here in Whitby, while having access to the services and supports they need, including mental health resources.
Supporting Local Business and Tourism
By supporting our local businesses, attracting new investment, and strengthening tourism, we can grow Whitby’s economy, create opportunities, and build a thriving community.
Improving Downtown Parking
I will explore innovative solutions to improve downtown parking for residents and visitors.
Enhancing Our Waterfront
Whitby’s waterfront is one of our greatest assets — let’s make the most of it.
